Hello Friends,I Welcome you all today on my first website.so today i am going to share a recipe which has magic in it.you will be thinking that is it really possible? And the answer is Yes.Today the dish which i am going to make has the simple and main ingredient Gram Flour which is mostly available in every house.All the Indian dishes like pakodas ,kadhi,dhokla are made with this ingredient.But our todays dish is much more special and it tastes exactly like a fish curry.The reason behind sharing this recipe is that now a days during this lockdown we are not able to go to markets and the availability of fresh fish is also not possible.So lets try this magical recipe:
To make Cheela-----
Gram Flour-2 Cups
Garlic Ginger Paste -2 Tablespoons
Anardana-1Tablespoon
Green Chillies-2
Cumin Powder -1Tablespoon
Salt and Red Chilly as per Your Taste
For Gravy----
2 medium sized onions
Garlic Paste-1 tablespoon
2 to 3 Tomatoes
Cumin -1Tablespoon
Rai-1Tablespoon
Full dry red chillies-2,3
Dry coriander seeds -1/2 Tablespoon
Mango Powder-1/2 Tablespoon
Salt,Red chilly powder,tumeric and garam masala as per your taste
If u like spicy you can add more and less if you dont.It all depends on your taste.
Method:-
Take Gram Flour in a bowl and add ginger garlic paste,green chilly paste,cumin powder,anardana,red chilly powder and salt in it.Now add some water to make a paste.paste should be of pouring consistency.Now place a pan or tawa on your gas stove on a medium flame.Now pour some amount of this paste on the pan and spread it all over to make a cheela..when some bubbles can be seen and its cooked from downwards just fold it from both the sides and press a little.when its fully cooked keep it aside.Make as much cheelas as u required.now its time to cut these folds into pieces.cut 2 inches pieces like a piece of fish.
Now take some oil In a pan .Put Full red chillies,Cumin seeds,Rai Seeds,coriander seeds.Now add chopped onion,garlic paste and stir until they get golden brown after this add tomato puree .now add mango powder,salt,tumeric and red chilly as per your taste.And start stirring all these ingredients until they leave the oil.After this put 2 or 3 cups of water and make it boil.Now in the final step add all those pieces of cheelas into this gravy.Cook for 15 minutes and serve hot with rice.
